When to go
The best time to come will depend on what you want to do. Ljubljana and Lake Bled are great destinations year round and beautiful for different reasons in each season.
The summer months of June – August are high season when the city is alive with outdoor activities, the beaches and lakes are great for swimming and the mountains bring lots of hikers.
Spring and fall are ideal for hikers wanting to avoid crowds and winter is when the skiers and riders come to hit the slopes. There is something for everyone at any time of year!
